Lynn Thomas, LCSW, is a pioneer in integrating horses into mental health services, leading global efforts to train professionals and increase awareness for over 25 years. She co-founded and developed the Eagala Model, advancing standards in psychotherapy services incorporating horses, and later established Arenas for Change (ARCH), a professional community and training program focused on enhancing facilitation skills and emotional safety through a story-driven approach.
In 2021, Lynn co-founded Horses for Mental Health (HMH), a nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to raising awareness, engaging the public, and broadening access to equine-assisted mental health and personal growth services. Each May, during Mental Health Awareness Month, HMH brings together industry leaders, celebrities, companies, governments, and nonprofits through its annual Seen Through Horses campaign to collaboratively raise awareness and funding, supporting these transformative services globally.
